Dr. Henry Hai Li attended the Signing Ceremony for the Beijing Convention and the International Symposium

On 5 September 2023, the managing partner of this firm, Dr. Henry Hai Li was invited to attend the signing ceremony which was co-organized by the UNCITRAL and the Chinese government for the UN Convention on the International Effects of the Judicial Sales of Ships. It is the first time in the history of the United Nations to hold a signing ceremony in China for a convention adopted by the United Nations.

At the symposium, Dr. Li presented a paper entitled “A Cherishable Opportunity for Harmonization of International MaritimeLaw”. In the speech, he introduced the long journey of 15 years from his personal proposal to a UN convention.
