Our lawyers are all well educated either in China or abroad at well-known universities, such as Dalian Maritime University, Wuhan University, Sun Yat-sen University ,China University of Political Science and Law, etc. Before practicing as lawyers, most of us were engaged in various professions, such as university lecturer, in-house counsel of shipping or trading or insurance companies, deck officer at sea, etc. With our divergent and abundant professional working experience, we are more expert in handling disputes and matters in connection with international shipping, trading and insurance. We are experienced in acting as our clients’ agent ad litem for litigation before the Chinese courts at all the 4 levels, especially before the established 11 Chinese maritime courts and their courts of appeal. We are also very much experienced in acting as our clients’ agent in maritime or commercial arbitration proceedings either in China or abroad. In addition, we are instructed from time to time to act as expert witness to provide legal opinions of Chinese law to foreign courts or arbitration tribunals.

Henry Hai LI  Senior Consultant

Henry Hai LI was born in 1958 in Xi’an, Shangxi Province.

In 1983, Henry graduated from Dalian Marine College (now Dalian Maritime University, the “DMU”), and received his bachelor’s degree in ocean navigation and a certificate of competence for second officer of seagoing ships. His LLM in maritime and commercial law and PhD in international private law are received respectively from DMU in 1988 and Wuhan University in 2000. 

Alan Tan  Senior Partner Director of Law Firm
Mr.Tan specializes in maritime matters, international trade, insurance and financing, compliance etc. He is good at handling major and complex foreign-related litigation cases,especially maritime disputes such   as cargo damage, bills of lading and charter parties, shipbuilding and  repairing, collision, general average, and salvage at sea; international  trade disputes such as  international sale of goods and  letters of credit; insurance disputes such as hull insurance, cargo insurance, complex property insurance, engineering insurance,liability insurance, credit insurance, etc. Mr.Tan has represented clients in major and complex cases before the High Courts and the Supreme Court of PRC. he is good at accurately grasping the balance of interests of all parties involved in the transaction. He not only provides clients with advice on legal risk prevention and control, but also puts forward practical solutions for the realization of the ultimate business purpose of clients.

Green Chunshan JIAO   Senior Partner Executive Director

Education: Bachelor's Degree from Dalian Maritime University / Master's Degree from Dalian Maritime University.

Qualification & Employment Experience: Obtained the judicial practice qualification certificate in 2005, joined the law firm in 2007, and became a partner of the law firm in 2011.

Other Qualifications: Senior Crew Member: First Mate, Certified Tax Agent, Intermediate Accountant, Fund Qualification, Securities Qualification, Futures Qualification, passed five subjects of the Certified Public Accountant exam (Accounting, Auditing, Tax Law, Economic Law, Corporate Strategy and Risk Management).

Wang Xinghui senior consultant

Wang Xinghui was born in 1951, Jiangxi Province.

In 1986, he obtained his lawyer's license in Shanxi Province and started his career with Shanxi Economic Law Firm. He began practicing law in Shenzhen in 1991. As a lawyer, he has handled a number of difficult and complicated cases with great impact, such as the administrative litigation cases involving Shenzhen Xiancheng Building and Shenzhen QVOD. He also handled the Shenzhen Baishi financial futures case. He has plentiful experience of working as a lawyer.


 




Yang Dejun  Partner


Yang Dejun was born in 1985 in Yingshan, Anhui Province. In 2009, Yang Dejun graduated from Dalian Maritime University and received his bachelor degree in ocean navigation and a certificate of competence for third officer of seagoing ships. 


Mr. Yang has extensive experience in commercial, shipping, ship and cargo insurance and is particularly skilled in handling complex maritime disputes such as cargo damage, Marine accidents, stranding, collision, general average, salvage, oil pollution and personal injury cases. With his professional knowledge and sincere service attitude, he has won wide praise and praise from customers.


 Kelly Fang Lawyer


     Graduated from the School of Maritime Law at Shanghai Maritime University in 1992 with a bachelor's degree, and MBA from Tsinghua University in 2003.

    Work as vice-Chief of Shenzhen Lawyer Association Maritime Branch, member of Tsinghua University Shenzhen Alumni Association MBA Branch.

Zhou Yang  Lawyer


ZhouYang was born in 1974 in Wanzhou, Chongqing Province. 


ZhouYang received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Application and a Master's degree in Law from Sun Yat sen University. He have received qualifications in accounting, securities, and patent agency, and have joined the ALL-CHINA PATENTATTORNEYSASSOCIATION.





Michael Zhang  Lawyer


Michael Zhang was born in 1982 in ShanDong, ShanDong Province. 


Michael Zhang obtained his bachelor degree in Maritime Law from the School of Law at the Dalian Maritime University in July 2005.

Huang Yao Lawyer


   Born in Haikou in 1981, with ancestral roots in Haikou City, Hainan.

Graduated from the School of Economics and Management at Dalian Maritime University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree.
